This is just what I was looking for. No leaks, no mess, easy to install.. just perfect.

This is a very disappointing product. The Suncast hose reel it replaced was at
least 10 years old and a good usable product. Every corner that can be cut on this product has been cut. The crank handle is so short it is a joke, the connecting hose is so thin it kinks if you look at it, the reel sides are so flimsy that they bend over and cant hold much hose. The hose guides are so flimsy they arent useable either.
This may be useable for a very short hose and minimal use, but if you put a 100 ft of hose on it, it is grossly over loaded and difficult to use.
I bought suncast because the older products were very good. This product is not
in the old products league.

Just received and installed this reel. Mine came without the leader hose, so I’m figuring out how to contact Amazon to get that sent to me, as I improvised a hookup without it. As other reviewers noted, this is an incredibly cheaply made product, but it only cost [...] bucks, so you do get what you pay for. It does hold a 75 foot hose, and it doesn’t leak (yet). I’ve bought suncast hose reels before and they usually last about 4-5 years, then start to leak. The leak is due to either worn O-rings which are not a standard size and can’t be easily replaced, or to worn plastic components. I almost bought the excellent sounding [...] buck reel from Amazon, but figured it would last much longer than I would.
