The quick spool is widely on any of the drums of plastic out there. It is expensive in comparison to the rest, but then it is solid, well designed and quality construction. Also has a guarantee of 10 years, the reel of the acquired plastic before this cost about $40 but only lasted two weeks, what is really expensive! You have to be a little practical or know someone who is integrating it, but everything need you, including tools for these features are included in the box. Gotta say, I thought much about this purchase. I mean really long, thick and hard. Fortunately it was winter when I started this internal debate epic, so I had some time for milling along. You could not decide if I should get a reasonable price hose reel, or this monster price… but all I can say is that I went with the monster, and I’ve never been happy (my wedding day is a close runner up). The Assembly was a breeze, finished in 15 minutes in my work (business casual) clothes. The spool is super soft and easy to handle. The wheels are solid and make it very easy to move, even with a hose of 100 feet in it. It is my wife is as 5 feet tall and 100 pounds he had an operating problem, no matter whether it is reeling the hose or the relocation at the head of the House she achieves faster and easier than ever.
