I had the Wonder winder through the winter and summer, and it is excellent. I use it for my weed whacker and the mower Toro snowblower in winter and summer. He retracts 100′ heavy polar yellow cord with ease, wet or dry, sale, or salted, hot or cold. I takes care to form the cord to the wind in one direction 3 first time that I used, and in the winter, I’m sure to have the cord lying directly behind me – this ensures that all will be liquidated as soon as I crank. I wish only to mounting plates more.

This product by wind and stores the cords as well as most testified. However, it has a wall mount question.

The problem – the alignment of the ears locking to the orientation of the wall braket is offshore about 10 degrees. Installation instructions are missing graphics language and adequate to guide you – dispite a warning that “it may be necessary to use the additional pressure the first several times the unit is locked in the wall”.

The details of the problem – the circular wall bracket was 4 holes for Mount screws and an arrow “up” to indicate the direction of mount. If you accept that the arrow (in the backet) should be the direction of Mount you would be wrong. If you took place and it has obtained on the wall with the screw 12 holes, 3, 6 and 9 hours the unit itself would not level during ascent. My unit came with 2 wall mount backets and the two had this disorientation.

The Solution – Note the wall hook & when attached to the unit before securing the wall. Do this

The description says “holds ‘ 150 cord 16/3, 100′ cord of 14/3 or ‘ 75 12/3″ cord, but I could not even the first few feet of a string of 12/3 loaded in it. The cord is not naturally fell into a neat in the bottom coil, and attempt to guide in place, reaching via the net was incredibly tedious. Even if did persevere and it has loaded, I would be ready to wrestle in every time I used the cord. Which will defeat the purpose of a coil.

The power cord that I use is a very high quality, very flexible silicone insulated cord outdoors which is almost impossible to twist. I put out straight to the sun before trying to reel in, as suggested by the instructions, but it was still impossible.

Given that I do not have a cord gauge 16 or 14, I don’t know how it would work with them. It must be great, all the favourable criticism. My cord is perhaps just too soft or rubbery for it.
